Photography for walls, not feeds.
I’m Jiri, the photographer behind Othervariant. I make photographs of London architecture, streets, landscapes and the quieter details that are easy to miss when a city is moving quickly.
I’ve always been interested in the way places are built up over time: old buildings beside new ones, light across stone and glass, reflections, strong lines and the small changes that give a familiar place a different mood. I often return to the same subjects, looking for another angle rather than simply recording the landmark.
Othervariant grew from that way of looking. The prints are made for rooms, not feeds. I choose images for their shape, atmosphere and ability to stay with you after the first glance.
What I photograph
London architecture, black and white studies, city details, landscapes and the occasional place that makes me stop and look twice.
Outside the print shop
I’m a photographer, technology enthusiast, MTB rider and explorer. Those interests keep me moving, curious and looking for a different way into a familiar scene.
How a print begins
Every print starts with an original photograph. I edit it with the final wall in mind, then offer it as an unframed print, framed piece or custom request depending on the image and the space.
